Impromptu Visit To Mom in Washington
Last Friday I made a last minute decision to go and visit my mother in Washington. She lives just outside Colville which is about an hour or two north of Spokane. I bought last minute tickets and took the first plane on Saturday after I got off work. I am terrified of planes so I got fairly drunk and went on my way. The weekend was great! We slept in, I got a thorough tour of her 20 acres, we had several nice drives to see the country and had plenty to eat and drink. Oh, the good ole days. We seem so happy. Last year I started scanning pictures that mom had stored away. She literally has buckets of photos to go through, thousands of photos.
